Bangladesh expresses concern over launching of ballistic missiles by North Korea

A press statement released by the External Publicity Wing, Ministry of Foreign Affairs today says that Bangladesh is deeply concerned over the recent launching of 4 ballistic missiles by Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK). By launching of the missiles, DPRK has violated its obligations under the relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.
As a signatory to the NPT and CTBT, Bangladesh is committed towards working with the International Community for renunciation of the use of force in international relations and for general and complete disarmament. Therefore, Bangladesh urges DPRK to refrain from any action that could impact adversely the peace and stability in the region and beyond.
