5 killed in B’baria road collision

At least five people were killed in a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a battery-run-CNG at Brahmanbaria’s Bijoynagar upazila on Sunday afternoon.
The accident took place around 2:30 PM on Dhaka-Sylhet highway at Rampur area in the upazila.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately, the police officials said.
Confirming the matter, Sarail Khatihata Highway police station officer-in-charge Jahangir Alam said that a speedy CNG collided head-on with motorcycle, leaving five people dead on the spot.
Being informed, a team of police recovered the body and sent those to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital morgue for post-mortem examinations.
Police were looking into the matter, the OC added.
