Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today said the government is taking various measures to train players of different sports to elevate them to international standard and for this, BKSPs are being built in every division.

“It is most important to make the players competent by giving proper training. So, we have been building BKSP in every division. —we have been taking various measures to develop our players as international standard,” she said.

She was addressing as the chief guest the concluding and prize distribution ceremony of the Sheikh Hasina Interbank Football Tournament-2024 at Bangladesh Army Stadium here in the afternoon.

The tournament was arranged by Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB) for the second time this year, under overall supervision of the Bangladesh Army.

The Prime Minister said they have taken up some sports to compete at the international level.

She said her government is building BKSP in every division from where players of different sports such as football, cricket, hockey, athletics, shooting, chess, volleyball, weightlifting and swimming, can take appropriate training.বিস্তারিত
