The youth self-defense training project, initiated by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, is set to begin tomorrow at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishthan (BKSP), according to a press release issued by BKSP.

Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain is expected to inaugurate the project as the chief guest.

The program is designed for young men and women aged between 18 and 35 from across the country, aiming to enhance their self-defense skills and promote awareness of personal and social safety.

According to the training plan, only women will receive training at the BKSP campus in Dhaka, while male participants will undergo training at various BKSP regional centers across the country.

BKSP sources said the training will include modules on physical fitness development, basic self-defense techniques, emergency safety measures, and confidence building. The initiative seeks to empower youth by equipping them with essential life skills for personal protection and resilience in challenging situations.
