The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will organize a Business Opportunities Seminar (BOS) on November 12, 2025, at the Bangladesh China Friendship Conference Center (BCFCC) in Dhaka. The event is being arranged with the active support of the Economic Relations Division (ERD), in collaboration with relevant government agencies.
According to ADB, the seminar aims to highlight key ongoing and upcoming business opportunities under ADB-financed projects and ADB private sector operations in Bangladesh. It will serve as a platform to share insights, promote partnership opportunities, and enhance the participation of the private sector in development initiatives.
The World Bank will also participate in the event, sharing details of its project portfolio alongside ADB’s presentations. The inclusion of both multilateral development partners is expected to create a broader understanding of current and future investment prospects in Bangladesh’s development landscape.
The seminar will bring together a wide range of participants, including contractors, suppliers, consultants, non-governmental organizations, private sector enterprises, and representatives of leading business associations from Bangladesh and abroad. In addition, officials from diplomatic missions and various government agencies are expected to attend.
