The National Consensus Commission’s dialogue with political parties resumed today for the 10th day in second phase aiming at preparing a ‘July charter’ within shortest possible time reaching a consensus on different issues of state reform and various reform commissions’ recommendations.
The discussion formally began at Doel hall of the Foreign Service Academy here at 11.15 am.
“We are trying to present the proposal to be recommended by the commission again after bringing necessary amendment so that it reflects the feelings and expectations of the political parties”, Vice Chairman of the National Consensus Commission Professor Dr Ali Riaz said in a media briefing before the meeting.
“These are not new proposals, these are revised proposals. As all is emphasising on the infrastructural change, so we are trying to be on that issue with you”, he said.
The consensus commission has held meeting individually and jointly with different political parties and the proposal has been amended if necessary, he said.
After the discussion with the political parties, the member of the consensus commission also have meeting among themselves and sort out these things about which the consensus isn’t reached, Prof Riaz said.বিস্তারিত
